Rev. Dr. Herbert Hoefer served as a missionary in India for 15 years and as a parish pastor in Wisconsin for 13 years. He has been a member of the faculty at Concordia since 1997. As the Missions Chair at Concordia, Rev. Hoefer also serves part-time for the LCMS Northwest Dt. and for LCMS World Mission. His writings have been primarily in the areas of the relationship between Christian faith and Indian culture.
