Amy Gehrke graduated from Concordia in 1996 with a degree in Elementary Education. She has traveled in Southeast Asia with Youth Encounter, taught in Califomia, and has been working in Admissions for the last five years. Her stories and poems are "reactive snippets" to experiences or conversations in her life. "Relentless Erosion" was written after spending a weekend on a Midwest farm owned by a couple who have been married for over seventy years.
